Drinking Healthy Water in Your Home Can Make a Wonderful Difference in Your Life
My name is Dr. Nancy Zare and I’m a molecular hydration specialist. One of the things I like best is helping people experience optimal health by introducing them to life enhancing water. When I hear the word home, I think of the sanctuary of my childhood that protected me from those hot, humid days of summer. I’d run through the screen door that clashed with a bang and head directly to the kitchen sink where I helped myself to a tall glass of cold, chilling water. Mmmmmm. I’d down the glass and start a second as I caught my breath.
Today many people are searching for an option to enjoy healthy drinking water at home.
Although Asian people have been using electrolyzed water since the 1970s, only recently did this technology enter the US market for residential use. Those families who have invested in a water processor have reported more energy, better sleep, easier digestion and elimination, and an overall feeling of well-being.
Electryzed water is water that has been restructured through a process called electrolysis.
A bolt of lightning zaps tap water flowing over electrified metal plates. Within seconds the source water is changed into two streams, one acidic and the other alkaline.
Many types of water processors are available on the market. Most are about the size of a coffee maker and sit on the counter. A couple models are located under the sink. You’ll even find a commercial grade model used in restaurants and health facilities.
Not all water processors can produce alkaline drinking water.
Only a few have the capacity to manufacture at least 7 different pH levels of water, including those that are highly acidic and highly alkaline. Once you have access to all of these extreme pH levels of water, you’ll appreciate how the water processer can be used for preparing food, creating a chemical-free home (or office space), and enjoying personal care and hygiene.
For example, water that has a pH of 11.0 or higher removes the oil-based pesticides used on produce. For sweeter-tasting, longer-lasting berries and vegetables, soak them in highly alkaline water. If you are worried about bacteria, use water with a pH of 2.6 and below. In independent lab reports, electrolyzed oxidizing water – EO water – kills 99.995% of micro-organisms including e-coli, staph, MERSA, and even necrotizing fasciitis, flesh eating bacteria.
Mildly acidic water (pH 5.5 to 6.5) has the same pH as expensive skin toner and is useful for skin and hair care. Tomato plants and evergreens love acid water. It also tenderizes meat and poultry, and enables beans, pasta and rice to cook quickly.
Mildly alkaline water (pH 8.5 to 9.5) is perfect for drinking because it neutralizes the acid waste that accumulates through metabolism, exercise and stress.
Pets and domestic animals thrive on alkaline water. It brings out more flavors from soups, stews, coffee and tea, and makes alcoholic beverages smoother to the taste.
Drinking healthy, life enhancing water is one important thing each of us can do to preserve vitality and enjoy life to the fullest.
